Race Day Information
Transport
The Tweed River Jockey Club is located at 185 Racecourse Road, Tygalgah, NSW, 2484. We are located approximately 5 minutes from Murwillumbah and 25 minutes from Gold Coast Airport.

Shuttle Buses
The Club will run shuttle buses on Murwillumbah Cup Day and Big Dance Raceday. Please see more details on their respective event pages.

Taxis
Tweed Taxis are the local taxi services in the Tweed and Murwillumbah. Please contact Tweed Taxis via (02) 6672 6666 to book.

Parking
There is some parking available at the racecourse complex. On-street parking is available.
Opening Times & Admission
Opening Times
The general admission gates at the Tweed River Jockey Club will open at least one hour before the first scheduled race. Please see each event page or our Facebook page for gate opening times.

Race Times
Please see our Racing Calendar or social media pages for race times. Race times are confirmed usually 2-3 days prior to each race meeting. Alternatively, visit the Racing NSW website for race times, acceptances and results.

Admission Prices
Admission prices vary for each race meeting. For major race days, we offer early bird specials as well as discounts for buying online instead of at the gate. At all race meetings, children under the age of 18, members, members' guest pass holders, participant (racing personnel), owners and reciprocal members gain entry for free.

Concession prices are available upon presentation of the appropriate identification.
On-Course Facilities
Bars
The Trackside Bar is open to the public on all scheduled race meetings. The Members Bar is open to all members, their guests, owners and participants for all race meetings. The Galloper's Bar is open all race meetings for booked patrons.
​
Additional bars may be opened on feature race meetings where required. Opening and closing times of bars are in line with licensing requirements with the NSW Police.

Betting Facilities
TAB and bookmakers facilities are available in the Betting Ring at all race meetings. Additional bookmakers will be located on course for feature race meetings. TAB facilities are also available in the Members and Gallopers Bar.
Other
Cash Out
Cash out is available at all bars on-course. Minimal cash-out available.

Dress Code
There is no strict dress code at the Tweed River Jockey Club. It is recommended that smart casual attire and enclosed shoes are worn to the Members Bar, Galloper's Restaurant and other on-course raceday hospitality areas.
​
Racebooks
Racebooks are available for $5.00 from all bars and the race day office. Trainers and owners can collect their free racebook from the race day office only.
​

Broadcasting
All race meetings (except Big Dance Raceday and ANZAC Day) are broadcasted live via the Sky Racing Network and Sky Sports Radio.
